Hospitalisation
Hospitalisation guarantees personalised multidisciplinary treatment by the treating psychiatrist, defined from the first days of hospitalisation through a therapeutic plan shared and agreed upon with the patient. The plan may include structured psychotherapy interviews with psychiatrists and psychologists, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, sociotherapy and, when necessary, the support of an appropriate pharmacological therapy. The doctor in charge, together with the clinical team, systematically updates the treatment plan in order to adapt it to the evolution of the illness with the aim of accompanying the patient towards discharge to his/her home or, if required, to the continuation of treatment in Day Hospital or outpatient care.
